The World After
Writing and map making workshops, Focal Point Gallery, Essex
David Blandy collaborated with Daniel Locke to run a series of workshops for his exhibition The World After at Focal Point Gallery, Southend on Sea in 2019. Together with participants from local gaming communities they designed maps, creatures and explored writing linked to the landscape of Canvey Wick in Essex, a former site of an oil refinery on Canvey Island, Essex, now reclaimed by nature over the past 40 years.
